how did you guys go about getting your phone replaced? i recently looked and saw that my frame was cracked. i dont want a replacement, because im rooted and running a custom rom, but i simply want them to replace the frame. i took it to a corporate store and they said that theres nothing they could do because its purely cosmetic. even though i didnt do anything...

When I first saw this last month I paid it no mind. I always from day one with all my phone have had a screen protector and Seidio case and holster! And I have never dropped my phone. I just noticed the crack at the power button. It does not look like its all the way thru but its there!

Same here. Luckily, I found a seller on eBay who was selling screens and he sold me just a couple of the frames

I would definitely do that before trying Sprint, it's like pulling nails.

My replacement unit has finally developed a hair line crack at the volume rocker this time. I had not noticed it previously, since I had it in a red hard protective cover. Saw it today when switching out to a new clear hard protective cover.

Most probably produced from using it to boot into the bootloader... Quality is like the paint job on the Chilean Miner extraction capsule..

I wonder if some of these bezzels are being cast in bad molds. I brutally dropped my phone this morning in a parking garage. I had it attached to my chaps and forgot and took them off and threw them over my shoulder. My phone flew off and slid under a parked car and out the other side. As I walked around the car to get my phone, I was sure it was toast. The phone was in my leather carrying case but still... that was a tremendous shock.

I opened the case and all was well. When I got home, I examined the phone with a magnahood. There gouges on two corners where the phone must have struck concrete but no cracks.

I wonder if some of you are getting phones from bad casts. It they were all the same, my phone should have been cracked by now.
