I'm in Nyc and was hoping to test out 4g. Anyone know a radio shack by grand central that has the 4g signal? And do u think I have to go inside to test it?

Ya but I don't want to wait for November when 4G is here because I'm testing OMJ 1.6r rom and lot's of people are commenting that 4G is broken. I'm just hoping I'm not in that category and wanted to test it before 4G rolls out over here. That and I would really like to see what sprint tv looks like in 4G :)

Radio Shacks arent broadcasting anything anyways.. some Radio Shacks got 4G repeaters thats it... and someone looked up the model number from the repeater in the picture and it only had like a mile range or something like that..

LOL. Last night I asked my husband if we could take a road trip to Salt Lake City. He said, "Maybe. Why?" I told him I wanted to test out the 4g on my Evo. He shook his head and said to quit the crack.

I totally think it is a reasonable request. It's only a 12 or 14 hour drive. :(

yea in upper palatine, im almost hitting 9mbps 4g is nice!

You 4Ger's be happy... i have 2 evo's with some sort of alleged "fast 3G" and im getting .9-1M down and .5 up.............WTH

Tried 4G in Portland and Salem yesterday on my trip to Eugene got 4g in Eugene/Springfield area also "test area?".. all was 2mb or lower in Oregon :(

Nope, not here in Pasadena, or in the Los Angeles one I went to.
