BIG-HUGE Problem!

Hello Everyone,

Well i have a huge problem, the firs time i successfully flashed my evo with the Omj rom then i did a radio update and my wifi and 4G aren't working. I Tried To flash my evo with Fresh rom but, this time my computer wasn't detecting my evo, but the simple root program detected my phone and could place it in recovery mode. I cant access the green menu using the Windows-Recovery.bat, i dont know what might be the problem i have days with this problem. I have changed my drivers. i am stuck and dont know what to do.

Try another USB port. I had some similar issues... New port, rebooting. Sounds like you need to format the Cache and data... I use OMJ's ROM no issues, Rom Manager might help you too. Install it from the market and you can flash a ROM from the SD.

first off...can you get to recovery?

-power down your phone...turn it back on...but this time holding the down volume button.
-once you're in the bootloader screen...wait til it tries and SHOULD fail looking for the PCIMG file...once you get options to select...select recovery.
-you should then wipe data and wipe cache...then try to flash from there.

Do you have a micro SDHC card reader on your computer? I take it the card won't mount in the phone?

Re: BIG-HUGE Problem!

ok my friens and me flashed the latest damage control rom and the wiiimax update from calkulin as u know this update broke the 4g on almost everybody that flashed his update.so no matter wath rom u have 4g still woildnt work it ll just stay scanning, and couldnt flash stock because the update was img 1.47 and stock is 1.32 so wayh u do is downgrade and flash eitherstock or custom rom...so this is the link ,it works a .100%

once you get into recovery...do you see selections on screen? or just a evo and the red triangle?

if just red triangle..then use windows-recovery.bat

also...you might want to head to HTC's support site and download HTC connection manager (?) I think that's what its called...anyway...think that might help your machines talking to each other.

Re: BIG-HUGE Problem!

In the recovery menu I see like a cation sign with like evo in the middle and if I press up and the power a blue menu pops up with some options like reboo, flash from zip, wipe data ,wipe cache. I have wiped both yesterday.

I can't seem to find HTC connection manager. I Googled it and nothing official from htc.

OK so paste the stock ROM to the root of the SD card(Via Card Reader). The select flash from .ZIP

once you get the blue menu...you can flash whatever ROM (.zip)...in your case...I'd say flash the stock ROM and go from there.

it is HTC Sync that you're looking for...

go to HTC's US website....find the support section...then find your device...then look for downloads...and there should be a link to download HTC Sync.
