Wierd Text Message Problem
 

So I open a text message, and it opens up a completely different thread. For example I want to read the new text message from James, and when I click on it, it opens up the thread for Jessica. It is totally random and I have to go in and out a few times before it gets it right ( but when it messes up, it continues to show the same thread, so it will keep showing Jessica until the third or fourth time I get in. )

Ive seen this a couple times but it was when i tried opening one of my bookmarks from the widget

This has been reported as a screen issue since upgrading via the OTA. It happens to me too every now and then. When I select a text message from the top it actually selects from the bottom which is odd.

Yeah happened to right after the OTA, I hate this update and no ROOT ugh!!!!

It's much more sensitive now is all I guess.

It does this to me also.. I gotta pay attention and make sure I don't text the wrong person... But it did this to me before the OTA update and after

completely stock with my evo with all the current updates and it happens to me a lot. it sucks having to do this, but hit menu, all messages, then pick which one you want to reply to.

I have noticed that I make tons more keyboard errors since the OTA and lord knows the Evo text correction can leave you with some interesting messages....

Glad I didn't update. This could have really burned me. My girlfriends name is Jessica and her husbands name is James. Close call. Thanks for the heads up.
