help with wifi tether....
 

Newbie question. I am trying to use WiFi tether app and my work laptop is only recognizing my Eco as computer to computer network. My laptop is not configured to connect this way. I can not change settings either.

So is there a way for me to connect by access point (infrastructure) through tethering?

Any suggestions, thanks in advance!

Yes root your phone download the latest version of the free wifi tether version 2.02 pre5 works in infrastructure mode.this link here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=123938

I do have WiFi 2.02 Installed and rooted. My problem is that laptop is recognizing the connection as computer to computer and my work laptop does not support that. Any suggestions on settings I can change on WiFi tether or another app I can use.
