Honestly I think the moral of the story after three weeks is using a stock battery, don't expect much more than 10 hours with your normal usage pattern. These cats getting 24+ hours on a single charge are clearly not using their phone like a ppcgeek.

Haha, well no duh it didn't do anything.....

It's not doing anything to the battery, it's forcing the phone to be able to accurately read the battery levels, doing that charging in another phone means your Evo got nothing out of all that "work" you did.

You're funny.

Isn't the idea that when you charge the battery, the light on the phone is turning green before the battery has gained a full charge?

So by doing this excercise, you keep charging the phone until the light remains green when its on and when its off meaning that the battery is fully charged.

So why would it matter what device i use to charge the phone when the point is to make sure the battery is fully charged?

It's been mentioned on this thread, but just in case anyone missed it, this was already posted and is in the sticky portion of the forum.

Since the update I took my phone off the charger 10am yesterday and just now putting it back on the charger only because I wasn't going to be near one for a while.

Why do we as customers allow this battery scam to go on? All companies have a deal to make 1500mah or less batteries. It is to keep the unlimited users off the network at least sometimes. If we all had 3500mah batteries we would never get off the networks. It helps these carriers from building better networks.

You can easily just leave your phone plugged in. The reality is that phone technology has far out paced battery technology. If the evo came with a 3500mah battery most would not have bought it simply because of how thick it would be. And even if a 3500mah battery was the norm, people would still be complaing about battery life even if it lasted for days. Some body would make a thread asking why can't these phones come with a 7000mah battery so I can use it non stop for two weeks. You can't make everyone happy all the time so you do whats good for business.

Still at 20% on the batt. when I put it on the charger an hour ago. I have changed the update freq. on most of my apps that pull data to 4/6 hrs except Gmail app. I have only been using the 1750mAh for four days but I charged for nine hours before installing and activating (ins. replacement) , I can def. tell a difference from the stock battery.

Very cool...might have to give Sedio more of my money:razz:...then I can keep charging a slightly bigger battery, and have 2 like you:king:

Thanks for the update...anyone else getting these results, chime in before I order:toothy7:

I wouldn't because tests have shown Seido's batterys to be much less than what they advertise and the OEM batteries are almost right on. I think the web site is bestbattery.com
