Extract .apk's from Marketplace Downloads?
Is there a way to find the .apk's from your Marketplace downloads and save them for later without having to redownload them again from Marketplace?
Here's the reason why I ask... http://www.mobilecrunch.com/2010/06/...rom-yesterday/ I understand that it's a security issue with the apps and such, but something about it makes me feel it's a bit "Big-Brother"-ish. |

Astro file explorer can back up your apps.

Use Androidmate. Just search the market for it. There's a free version. Although there is probably a way to make the files show up in Astro or EStrongs. |

Astro actually backs up the apps for you.

You can also pull them using adb, assuming you are familiar enough with it.

AndroidMate is the one that works, really shows the hidden files.

Heres a pretty simple guide on how to use it if you are interested. Future rooting and customizations will be easier if you know a little bit about adb, for the most part anyway. |
