SMS through Bluetooth EVO Specific

Ok I've done search after search and have yet to find an exact answer to this question.

Is there a way to get texts to come through the Bluetooth headset using the Evo? Similar to Voice Command on the TP2.

Is there an app or something?

I'm not referring to the speech to text but when I receive and text message it would come through my Bluetooth headset. No matter which Bluetooth set I had.

I currently have the Jawbone Icon, I'm aware of the feature that can be purchased through their website. But I want a feature specifically for the phone, not the Bluetooth device.

Try the 'Voice Alerts Lite' (free version) from the market, it will send notifications thru the speaker or the BT.

Not even close to Voice Command like in my Touch Pro but is the only thing I have found so far... That's the only feature I really miss from my old TP and I don't have on the EVO.

If you get a Blueant Q1 Bluetooth headset running the most recent firmware, you can go to the Market and download an app called BlueAnt Q1 Android Application and then you will be able to hear all your texts through the bluetooth just like VC on the TP2!!

Also theres an app called Tell2Me in the Market which might work with your current bluetooth headset if you don't want to purchase the BlueAnt Q1.

If this info helps, don't forget to click the thank button in this post ;)
