My update was available at 9:00 am EDT. I was a little worried as it seemed like it was stuck because it would stay on a screen for a long time and act like it was done. now that I have seen this I will know next time that it will be done when the Sprint splash screen comes on. I would suggest having a fully charged phone when you do this or plug it into the charger.

I guess it had to do several updates in order.

I am not sure how it will affect me but the install went fine.

I had the same process when installing the update. How is your WiFi reception? Mine increased by a bar.

Are you asking me this? The update never applies and I am able to reboot no problem after I pull the battery. I am doing a Nand Backup of my OMJ Configuration right now, I will then apply an older Nand Backup of my rooted stock rom and try the update again.

So nobody still knows for sure if this update breaks the root or not?

Touch_rules is runnign a custom ROM and was unable to install the update. That is all the information we have yet on rooted devices.

Hmmm, this recovery module doesn't allow me to view multiple nandroid backups :(

I used to be able to click on restore and then pick the backup I wanted on my Hero, for some reason I only see todays backup now.

I guess I will have to just flash the rooted stock again and then do a Titanium restore, won't take long, just more steps.

Will let you know what happens.

just to make sure im not second guessing my self i am running this Current Version: 1.32.651.1 am i up to date or no cause when i try to go to software update ect it keeps saying that my firmware and software is up todate. i just tried this morning and its 10 25 but i havent update anything yet so does that mean that mine is up todate or they just havent put it up in my area to be updated yet? i live in saint petersburg

Did you go to updates, HTC updates? It should come up. It is version 1.47.651.1
