Strange... if you are rooted and using a rooted ROM then you shouldn't have any issues with the Market... This might be a good question for the guys over in Fresh's thread.

Sup Dahray02, did you get slingplayer to work fine now? if you did can you tell me what exactly you did? i rooted my phone using this method(http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...82&postcount=1)
to get the overclock widget. widget was working fine until recently it shows no numbers on the icon. don't think it recognizes my phone as being rooted anymore. titanium also didn't recognize my root after i updated but then just reinstalled busybox and works fine now(havn't used it but turns on now). so right now i can't find slingbox in my marketplace and overclock widget isn't recognizing my phone as being rooted. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

did you flash a rooted rom...thats the mistake i was making, i rooted then flashed the stock rom, not the rooted stock rom...now i'm running fresh's rom

i believe i just rooted my stock rom. i was thinking about hard reseting but don't want to lose swype. but i really want to be able to find slingmedia player in the android market.

nevermind, ended up backing mostly everything up and then unrooting phone. now everything works perfectly. thanks though
