Black text message background with white text
 

I was wondering if there was a way to change the text message background to black with white text instead of white with black text. I saw this on the Samsung Moment but I haven't seen it on any other phone. I wonder if it's a Samsung thing or not?

for the stock sms?

i use handcent and its customizable to anything you desire

On the moment it's for the stock sms, but I guess I can try out handcent.

What are the advantages of handcent? And does it automatically disable the stock sms?

handcent just did a revision where you now have iphone style messages with the persons name to the side of their text ..

my gf uses chomp i havent seen if there was an option for that ... but i know they are pretty darn similar in specs

when you install handcent - go into the stock sms settings and disable all notifications... handcent will now notify you and you have the option to use a pop up quick reply window if you desire

highly customisable, signatures, you can lock text messages, and it doesnt disable it, but you can tell the stock messages app to not notify you at all, then take it off of your home screen, and then put handcent on your home screen, and then you wont even notice that the stock messages app is there. Handcent is a must in my opinion for ANY android user

Handcent will do the black background with white text. I set mine that way a few days ago.
