Jacked up weather widget.
 

The stock HTC clock/weather widget is a bit off. I live in Houston and it's 9:30pm and my weather widget says its sunny outside. It's showing the big bright sun icon. What's the deal?

at least it doesn't think you're in a different "Houston." I've heard people complain that the the location aware crap recognizes the wrong city by the same name... for example, Houston, GA instead of Houston, TX

My current weather keeps disappearing. It will just say the time and Dallas then no weather or date on the homepage. I removed it reinstalled the widget and it shows up again Ill turn the screen off and when I turn it back on its gone again :(. If I click on the homepage to go to the weather current shows as " No weather data available" I can refresh it and sometimes it comes back and sometimes I still don't get anything.

Download the Fancy Widget from the market before it gets removed. BEST weather widget out there

This happens on my TP2 from time to time...it's the weather server whomever has...sometimes is doesn't refresh the site it's pulling from. It should go back to normal within time. Atleast you don't have a Airave...the town it shows when I'm connected to it is 30+ miles from where I live...it's a server thing to where my Airave connects too...sadly...but once I am not connected to my Airave...it shows the right town.

I live in Houston (TX) and my weather widget works perfect.

I have the same problem in Dallas,but when I travel its works right. I know it the right Dallas because rain and otther match

I don't use the HTC weather widget and downloaded the free WeatherBug app. I like that widget a whole lot better eventhough it's not integrated into the clock.

Mine did the same thing last night, but only on the primary city, then a few hours later it updated fine. I don't know why it only did it on the primary city.

HTC is complaining that Fancy Widgets looks to much like their HTC flip clock. Same thing happened to Beautiful Widgets months ago.

In my opinion, Beautiful Widgets is better. They have a truck load of skins available for it......

beautiful widgets is to hard on the battery. I like the weather channel widget very nice and has weather alerts something I haven't found any where else. Beautiful widgets is pretty and functional but way to hard on battery life. And yes it is very obviousely patterned from HTC sense.

I've been using Beautiful Widgets for quite some time now... No battery issues for me.

mine did the same thing yesterday.... i refreshed about 3 or 4 times in a 5 minute span and it fixed itself....
