EVO's Kickstand unmentioned "feature".
 

Welp I was watching the world's cup Argentina vs Greece game, while charing the EVO via the car charger. Noticed the phone was getting warm. Ran my fingers on the back and noticed it was warmer, almost hot on the lower level Became interested in the fact that the kickstand was the part that was warmer, and thought.. Hey they are so freaking smart, they actually used the kickstand as a hidden "heat sink"!

Anyone else notice this?

Not to burst your bubble bud but the kick stand is made of aluminum. Aluminum has the properties to attract heat. Most 'heat sinks' are made of the same material for this reason. It just happens to be a coincidence that it disipates heat. But if it makes you feel better than by all means believe away..lol

I tell people who ask that it's the special hi-powered 4G antenna for the 4G service. Usually, I get the raised eyebrows with bulging eyes look.

Now, I have this to add to the arsenal...

"It's an aluminum heat displacment shaft!!! Helps keep it cool while using the blazing fast 4G network!!!"

I think the kickstand is great when playing music. The music is actually amplified by bouncing off my desk and sounds much better than if I'm just holding it in my hand.

the imagio has a kickstand, and someone a long time ago made one for the mogul LOL
