Re: 44 hours and still counting....

i can push it to 38 hours with only checking email texts and twitter every few hours, but also a lot of standby time randomly in between. i know that's not with heavy or moderate use, but that should say something about all these dumb reviewers quoting 5-10 hours in standby only LOL.

Yeah I got about 48 to 52 hour without charging. But then again I'm a light user of my phone...

Here is my current battery usage:

However you classify my usage, I am getting about twice the battery life that I did on my Touch Pro2.

I agree. I think its a crock if you are a "normal" user... err i mean a geek like most of us who plays with the phone alot more than the other guy/gal.

No need for instructions. Just make sure your screen is off and stare at your phone for the next 40 hours. You're welcome.

lol. that's great

I'd disable exchange sync... i'd disable sync "anything". it silently exhausts your battery in the background. you should get at least 24hr...

I would have to agree with this post-----i just started getting half way desent battery life out of my phone since i returened my old EVO and got a new one---my first was part of the initial batch, now i can get about 9-10 hours life where as before with my old one i got barely 4, and i am a heavy user, i get my moneys worth out of it DAILY. i am running a stock ROM but i am thinking of rooting it tonight just to see if there is any huge differerence in speed and battery life with custom ROM and some proven tweaks. i'll report in later. :laughing6:

I sure would like someone with some knowledge come in here and explain how a device running a larger screen, a larger processor, more ram and the same OS as other Android devices yet none of them are getting this kind of battery life...... Oh damn, I forgot, the EVO is magic. My mistake guys.
