how to make a video call??
 

I been trying to make a video call since I got my EVO ....but I have been having bad luck ...can you all help me out so I can make my first video call ...and one more thing is there a app where I can video chat with hotmail or yahoo .....please help ...

Get Fring, its free from the marketplace. It will allow you to video chat with people on Yahoo, Hotmail, Skype, etc.
I will warn you though that the app pretty much sucks. Its alright but compared to the quality of the Qik video chat it sucks. However, it is the only app that will allow you to chat with other people who don't have an Evo so it serves its purpose.

Can you fring to other people with Evo's and fring also?

Me and my wife tried on our Evo's and there was no video option. We both have fring account and added AIM accounts. AIM said no video chat was supported.... so how do we do it?

Add Skype accounts to Fring. Video chat is done via Skype (via Fring).

also if you & your wife have evos it wont hurt to create a qik accnt.
better quality in my opinion

Yes, much better quality. Qik took a lot of time and effort to make a good quality app that would be able to keep a nice video chat going even when your connection speed drops.

From my experience I believe qik utilizes ur contacts so u have to add who ur tryin vid call
