i got the evo n made a gmail account n set everything giving my main email as a backup n regret it. i only use that email for important non internet related things like buisness n now everyday since im getting all kinds of junk which isnt being filtered right n sent directly to the phone . i dont know y i slipped n used it. probably thinkin in the case of protection n having my main email whichbis the only 1 checked everyday. def im 100% sure it is due to that ...... n damn local adds follow me during my web browsing too now. never on my tp2. ehhh anyway jus curious who else may b experiencing this or r u folkw used to getting bombarded with sh!t mail

Gmail has been the most clean email I've had in terms of spam. I never had this problem with them, and I have 3 emails with them 2 of them being google apps account. By switching to Google for my business apps accounts I rarely see any spam in my business email and especially our companies customer service email which usually got flooded with spam. Now hotmail and yahoo were horrible with spam.

i have a total of 4 gmail accts and have never had problems with spam either.

No spam at all frrom gmail or hotmail.

gmail = spam central and they dont allow you to block users.

its not my gmail account getting the crap its the other 1 i provided as a backup .. but u guys r lucky then i guess cuz it gets annoying at times

my gmail account actually does not get spam (knock on wood). Now my MSN account is another story :disgust:
