I dropped my phone and the screen shattered... Now with a picture.
I was in my room and I pulled my phone out of my shorts, it slipped out of my hands, it hit my carpet and the bottom of my screen shattered. Wtf. ... So cheap!

Re: I droppe my phone and the screen shattered...
I dropped mine on the concrete pulling it out of my pocket. Just scratched the edge it fell on, no screen damage, & I didn't have a case at the time, (I now have one).

Re: I droppe my phone and the screen shattered...
I think that is the down side of glass screens. They scratch less seasy, but shatter when dropped.
Any case/screen protector on your phone? |
Re: I droppe my phone and the screen shattered...
wow sucks it cracked on carpet... i dropped mine the same way, maybe 1 foot less, and nothing happened. usually when people crack these screens it's because they dropped it on a hard surface. must've hit the mark. please post pics of what kind of damage can be expected if dropping no carpet from 3 feet. many of us are coming from plastic screens, so we should be aware of the damage our EVOs can take. thanks.
edit: the crackable screen is making me rethink the whole getting insurance things....... resistive screens could be dropped on concrete and keep going. |
