Am I doing something wrong? I just assumed I'd be able to use data while on a call....

I believe it only works with wimax so you have to have that enabled and be in a 4g area.

text messages go out and come in on the same channel that calls are made, data is different

I could've sworn I could do that with my Touch Pro2. I guess it was just texting though.... Thanks for the answers guys.

apparently, as I just tested it, you can text and be online at the same time. was listening to pandora and texting at the same time. and an incoming call takes priority over being online, which was expected.
