Re: [GUIDE] Keep High Resolution Photos For Caller ID
What really sucks is that when I first got my phone the pics looked great, now since I replaced my phone the pics look like crap. They are all Facebook links btw.

Finally success. You must "unlink" the contacts phone vs google. under people/view make sure all lists are selected. then remove all contact pics under each listing. after all are removed and each listing "unlinked" then add a photo from the gallery(or take 1) and add it to your PHONE contact only. do not add one to your gmail or google listing. this worked for me.

Re: [GUIDE] Keep High Resolution Photos For Caller ID
Yea, unlink them all together. i never had mine linked to FB. but they were linked to my gmail(even tho i had no pics in gmail) It's obvious that something is done thru the linking process(no matter what the "phone" list is linked to) go into your "people app"/hit menu/view make sure you check all lists that are available (phone/google/FB etc), then go into each contact (there will probably be dupes, do NOT use a photo for each dupe)delete all pics, then go back in and unlink all contacts that have dupes, then reset 1 photo per contact name.blurriness should be gone.

Re: [GUIDE] Keep High Resolution Photos For Caller ID
I updated to Froyo yesterday but there are not Phone contacts (at least not in the current version of it)...does anyone know where I can pick up a copy of the the original apk or if there is another way to do this with Froyo?

If you add the photos from Outlook, will it still work, or do they need to be put in the gallery, or folder on the SD? |
