come on now!

So I noticed the last couple of mornings, within 15 minutes of taking my phone off the charger I go from 100% battery to 90%! Has anyone else noticed this? This is with virtually no use.

What you need to check is how many "streams" are running and how often your device is reaching out to collect "social" information or emails/etc. If your device is syncing every 10 minutes that means that it is constantly touching all these sites (Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, etc.) and pulling updated information. This is not optimal for battery life at all.

There is tons of information posted all over this site pertaining to battery life and how to improve it.

i listened to music for an hour this morning & havent had that much drain. check the usual- 4g radio / screen brightness / update freq on diff things like the guy above mentions.

I pretty much have everything turned off or set to manual update. The only thing that updates automatically is weather every 4 hours. I'm starting to think my battery is defective or something. It doesn't make sense. No pun intended.

I wouldnt focus too much on the percentages... This is just how the system interprets the battery levels via drivers, etc. What is more of the focus is how long your battery actually lasts throughout the day.

Stock Android moves in 10% intervals and usually the 100% - 90% range is the quickest moving range on all phones.

If you want to use the wall paper you can but i wouldn't recommend it. I just use the weather, clock and calender. You know how those live wall papers hate your battery.

you shouldn't be losing battery that quickly. As others have mentioned on this website download spare parts from the market and check if you have a rogue app eating battery up in the background. If so delete that app reboot and voila.
