Re: It Glows

i heard about this too. I was curious to see if it was a "feature." I checked the other day and I can't say that I see any glowing. Sounds like some kind of defect... can't be helping the battery any if some kind of light stays on while it's supposed to be asleep.

Yesterday I had the auto reboot problem... it would reboot over and over every few minutes. It also noted awake and up times as the same even if I put it to sleep. Seems like some components on this phone just don't want to turn off. (hard reset fixed it btw)

Re: It Glows

Yes I'm guessing this takes some power. it is a real thing. It's similar to how speakers make a light hiss when not in use but are on. It's to make sure they can perform the instant they need to. I don't think I explained that well but it is because the LEDs are on a passive amp so they are on at the ready to glow. I dont understand why this occurs when the phone is locked tho. Ideas? Also the battery life is acceptable for this laptop of a phone, but can someone figure out a patch how to turn this glow off?

Re: It Glows

It's just that with no movement on the light from the buttons (unlike the Youtube video), the images are burned into your retinas, permanently. Those buttons will be the last thing you see in this life. Sorry to break the bad news.........

Soft keys slightly lit with screen off

I noticed when the screen is off that the soft keys are a little lit. I can only tell when in the dark when the lights are off. I tried factory reset but that didn't get rid of it. Anyone else seeing this?

Re: It Glows

Its a defect, ive already been through this for the passed 2 weeks..Currently waiting for my replacement to arrive from HTC.

fyi:HTC said to me that the buttons are not supose to be lit at all when the phone is locked. Not even a little.Look between the screen and the front of the phone, you can clearly see 4 lit LED's
