Anyone having problems with Qik?
 

I downloaded the updated qik with the blue icon. I set up my account and tried to do a video chat and it then said your account was not verified. So I went to my email verified that, then i went to verify my number and it will not send the text to my phone to do so....is anyone else having this issue?

Try sending the text to your phone again, I had to do it twice and then I got it.

I've resent the confirmation SMS like 5 times and sent an email to support@qik.com this morning :-(

I had that problem last night, I just did it from the comp instead and got the text message about a minute after.

Qik is still very buggy right now. Try Fring for right now.

Give Qik another week or so for them to straighten things out. They should have done this wayyy before....but its free. Can't complain too much I guess.

Tried multiple time to get sms sent to my phone, no luck and no answer back from qik support yet? Fring is nice, just wanna see how qik is too.

I eventually had to email support for them to send and mail to me in order to verify my phone. Apparently a lot of people are having the same issue. II clicked on send text a million times both from the computer and my phone, even reset both of them, with no luck. Support sent me an email after I sent them 2 emails in two days. It actually works pretty damn well. I've used it with little issues since then. Laggy yes, but it works.

I updated too, everything work except video chat, every time I tried to video chat the app just close... Sigh!

qik is still VERY buggy, everytime i try to launch it it crashes my camera. and then i have to use ATK or reboot the phone to get it to work again
