Noob question...ugh
 
I tried searching but couldn't find info on this. Probably the most noob question I'll ever ask on these forums..

How do you set your e-mail notification tone to a different one than the SMS notification tone? Mine is the same. I want to use the stock SMS and mail clients.

go to gmail, then click menu, settings. for sms, open sms, menu, then settings.

You can change the sms tone to something different from your email tone but I have not figure out how to change the email tone

I'm not using the Gmail client. This is for my Yahoo (also using Gmail in the stock Email app)
