Remove Facebook COntacts

So is there a way to remove the facebook contacts??? Like i don't wanna call one of these people by mistake or sumthing, I just wanna see the people I actually know and call in my fone contacts and not the whole world lol....any help???

I went into the sync settings and stopped facebook from syncing that way but i still havent figured it out for when you want to send a sms or mms. I also would like to ask if anyone knows how to stop the calendar from syncing birthdays via facebook.

Settings>Accounts & Sync>Facebook for HTC Sense>Tap Sync Contacts so the check box is empty.

ok I did that but now the people I know I can't connect them with their facebook, cuz the contacts aren't in sync, you can't just have it so you only have your friends contacts connected to facebook like how it was with the tp2???

that doesn't work hun, like when I press the "phone" button and start typing a number, everyone I'm friends with on fb that has their number on there shows up!!! it's so annoying why can't it be sense on tp2

Oh no not liking the sound of this, having flash backs of palm pre FB syncing, so dam annoying. i hope theres a work around

Do what blkhwkz said.. then restart you phone.

I CHECKED this box, restarted my phone, and now all 1000 FB friends show up on my phone dialer screen to test it out... then i unchecked the box, restarted the phone and all 1000 fb friends disappeared

I had the same problem. Go to menu>settings>accounts&sync>click on facebook and then click remove account. This will remove all of your fb contacts from ur contact list. You can sync ur contacts infro from fb by going to people then click on the person's name to open their contact, look at the bottom of the screen and go over till you get to the sync sign (the circle) then it should have a "link to facebook" update button. Click that and you should be able to sync the contact. Hope that helps

in theory this works, but if someone has 1000 fb friends and only wants 200 of them in their phonebook/contacts... your method would make them link the 200 one by one.

I tried this last night but once I delete my account and all my fb contacts where gone and I tried to sync the ones i cared about one by one, there was no fbcontacts found to sync the person with, so I think I'ma just have to deal with it... oh well
