hey i need some one to answer this for me how do you know if you rooted your phone the right way or not? and if so if your phone is rooted and you try to root it again with the unrovked apk file what will happen?

if you try and run a rooted app and its not rooted it tells you.

and i ran unrevoked and have not had any issues nor had to reinstall.

so what your saying is that nothing bad will happen like bricking or anything lol new to the evo world cause im just trying to get wifi tehter to work once i get that going im good

Hey is it just me or are you guys experiencing a slower browser speed??? it seems that my internet has slowed down.... i am unrevoked and running free wifi tether... no other changes made... i have also read that if you run a rooted evo without a rooted rom that problems have occurred.... any truth to this?? thanks for your help!!!

i havent had any issues and I followed my instuctions.

never noticed a difference I have seem my speeds hit 2mb down on 3g alot depends on the server you are hitting

Ok im on evo 002 and its stock never been rooted and i have latest update can i use this just like that or do i need to be rooted first?

if you have lastest ota then you can not install wifi tether.

you can follow the 4 clicks app. then install the shipped stock RUU. then update the ota once, disable updates and then download unrevoked and wifi tether

Darn scared of rooting well i have done research but my lappy is all mest up inside scared that briking it
