Phones "camera flash" as a flash light.
 

Use your cameras flash as a flash light with "LED Light" from the market, very nice little app.

Others are reporting that "LED Desire Light" is a better flash light app.

Just make sure not to use it too much or for that long because aparently it can burn out your bulb.

get the desire flashlite app instead.... its way brighter, sends SOS, strobe, and you can modify intensity and works for EVO

What do you search for to find that one? I tried "Desire" "Desire Flashlight" "Desire Flashlite" and "Flashlight" and can't find it.

Yes they are LEDs, and I dont think the phone haas been out long enough for someone to say it will burn it out but I left it alone.

Never burned out the light on my old Touch Pro using it as a flashlight...even in extra bright mode...though the light apps for it only allowed extra bright mode for like 30 seconds...or regular mode for infinite time.
