Instant Messaging App Gone?

I was just on sprints website looking at the specs trying to figure out how much internal memory the EVO came with and stumbled across a paragraph that says
"Instant Messaging

Chat from just about anywhere using Windows Live™ Messenger, Google Talk™, Yahoo® Messenger, AOL® Instant Messenger™."

I have looked every where on my EVO and cant find the messaging app that came with my Hero that I thought the EVO would have. Is it just my EVO or is anyone else missing the Instant messaging app?

I noticed this too. My g/f has the Hero and it has the IM app. I was looking for it for a long time on the EVO and came to the same conclusion. It just isn't there. Seems very strange!

I used Palingo with my Touch Pro and was happy to see they had an android version of it. It supports all the major IM's and has worked well for me. You can get that in the marketplace.
