wierd android quirk.
 

when you disable text notification to show up in status bar, it dims out the ability to have a sound alert. so my texts dont show up on the lock screen (good) but now i dont get any type of alert, (bad) any way around this?

I downloaded chompsms. Lets you get rid of the scrolling on the top bar and lock screen but still alerts. Good app!

LMAO! Not cool! Funny but not cool! lol. I much prefer to text than talk on the phone. Ive barely even used talk to text. Maybe I hate my own voice? hmm...

lol, im mad i got the rep of tryina keep stuff from my girl. just dont like my teext messages on blast. wouldnt be a big deal if they didnt show up on the lock screen.

Yeah I don't like this either... Women are nosy sometime and I dont like how it shows the text message on the bottom of the lock screen... Not that I have anything to hide though.. :smh:

Ha, nah we just like a sense of security... My girl wanted to see my phone the other day.. She was trying to compare the size to her hand me down TP2 (provided by me).. Then she went to turn on the screen and I had to take it back from her and act like I wanted to show her something because I wasn't sure I had dismiss the last text message I received, so it would have been right there on the screen SMH..... Not like I got anything to hide though....
