Is your sound is bad as well?!
 

Hey guys,

I just realized that the speaker is nice but when I am talking on the phone and have my ear to the phone it sounds pretty bad - like a cracking, muffled sound/quality when audio comes out of popped speakers.

Can anyone confirm this. And yes I tried lowering the volume a bit and that was a no go. Thanks in advance

I got a phone call earlier tonight and it sounded crisp and clear. Also messed around with a streaming radio app and watched a few youtube videos and it sounds ok to me. Maybe there's something wrong with your speaker? Take it to the Sprint store and see what they have to say.

Gotta agree with better than the tp2. Just had slacker player while I was in the shower and on the tp2 I would need it at full volume. Evo is just as loud at half volume.

Some of the games I installed make a popping noise but other than that mines is perfect......really comparible to the Touch Pro 2's speaker!

Hey dude sorry this might be off topic but I'd like to recommend to you to not play something with your phone with you in the shower. On a phone like the EVO with its huge screen, the moisture will screw up your phone beyond repair.
