Question Purchased Evo via EPRP last night, still on SERO??

So, went online last night after midnight (yes, thank you all that's technically this morning) and purchased the Evo via the EPRP site. Now, this is where the weirdness starts happening.

I am still showing up as on SERO, I was never queried or required (even though the "you need to change plans) pop-up dialog displayed, and I just got a call from Fraud Protection (since I asked them to ship the unit to work rather than home) to verify I'd ordered it. Everyone I've spoken to so far has said, "yup, you're still on SERO" and no one seems the slightest bit to mind that i just upgraded (out of contract since December 2009, i.e., month-to-month) to the Evo on SERO.

What do you all think is going to happen. I legitimately purchased this through EPRP and am waiting for delivery at this point.

Well if you are on EPRP then it should work fine since this is "new sero" If you are on old sero I'm sure you will run into problems when you get the phone since you will probably have to activate it. I know I dumped my sero last night so I am evo ready, going to best buy after work.

I was online and saw the same thing.

At the end of the day though, you can order, but won't be able to activate.

RIP SERO, I will miss you. I dumped my plan for the (69.99 + 10 plan) - 25% off employee discount. $60/mo really isn't bad compared to other carriers, but having your cellphone bill double is still a tough pill to swallow.

The Evo may not be an iphone killer but it certainly is a SERO killer.
