Video Call and 3g - Page 3

I used fring.com software and my house and friends have skype.your fring will conect to skype and video calls are great.been doing it all day.heck with qik video.try it.

has anyone got the new version of qik to work? i upgraded it today and still dont see an option for video calling

This Qik sucks it only connects intermittently and its chop the sounds effed up and then it disconnects! anyone having any luck and what are you doing to get it to work? 3G? 4G? wifi any special steps or settings?

honestly I've been using qik all day with my bestie, and it works pretty well over 3g haven't got 4g yet nor a chance to try my wifi yet...fringe works better tho,

no problem with fring (skype) on 3g. my kids called me on the way home from work on there netbook durning peak hour traffic and my wife called me at lunch (on top of a mountain)

had the same prob had to stop blocking sms have QIK but no one with and evo that I know yet have fring but don't know how to get skype to work with it yet

My friend can call me on Qik but I can't call him.....anyone else experiencing this? It works fine when he calls....its just that I can't.

Qik has been hit or miss for me and my homeboy with an Evo, but when it works, its much better than Fring IMO. I've used it on 3g, 4g and wifi and honestly, couldn't tell much of a difference. How do you use Fring with Skype on the PC? and do you have to pay for that?

I dont get the randomness of this app, they better get it together before Face Time and iPhone4 drop. Yeah theres is only wifi but my Qiks not even working smoothly with Wifi

I don't get it either. But my guess and hope for that matter, is that they underestimated the amount users and server abuse that the app would be taking and they are working out the kinks.
