Engadget pokes fun at lack of lines for EVO launch

So apparently engadget thought it would be funny to have a launch day line watch article...

ha, our user base, meaning Sprint users, is weaksauce. I think I'll go at around 730am.

I think a lot of us think there will be more demand than there really is. This won't even reach 5% of the iPhone mania. Just reality, as I see it.......

yeah i posted a few days ago surprised that people were talking about camping out. i might actually head out at 7am instead of 730 and just get breakfast next door to the sprint place if there's no line. it doesn't take away from this being sprint's best offering... ever? usually they're behind with new features.

if anyone does see people out front try and take a pic and send it to engadget haha

True, but the 4G feature isn't one for most of the country, yet anyway. Some people don't have 3G yet, and who knows if they will ever get it, much less 4G. 4G doesn't probably make much sense in the Wyoming rurals (etc.), for instance. The high frequency doesn't penetrate buildings well, much less mountains.

good, that makes it easier for me to get mine, plus i don't like owning a phone that everybody has... never understood why everybody is so concern with the sales of a phone. poor sales is sprint problem, not mine.
