Closing programs in Android
So someone who's used Android explain something to me so I'll be ready for the EVO. How do you close a program in it? I'm running a 2.1 port on my TP2 and the only option I see in a program is the back button which only sets it to run in the background. I don't see any (close) option in lets say, the web browser. I see I can use the task killer, but that seems to be a pain in the ass. Need a little bit of schooling here LOL.

Re: Closing programs in Android
There's really no need to. Most games you play though, if you use the back button on the menu screen, it will exit the app. Other apps don't have much of a need to shut down.
Some apps also have an Exit button if you press MENU. Other than that...yes, task killer is the only way. |

And if we have a reason to close apps with 512MB of RAM, I think there are bigger problems afoot. ;)
