Total Sold?!?!?!
I asked this question on one of my other posts but i was wondering how many Iphones 1st, 2nd and 3rd generations were sold when they came out? I don't care about the pre-orders because not all pre-orders actually get bought, But when the EVO comes out i would like to compare the numbers... Any website or searches o can do to find out those numbers?

it is estimated that 525,000 were sold the first week the Iphone was released i read.

My question is this: How much money do they make just on pre-sold devices? Because just at the single Best Buy location I pre-ordered at, they had over 130. At $200 each, that's $26,000 without tax, and $28,150 with tax. And that's not considering the insurance, blah blah blah. But 30k at a store just in pre-orders??? I'd say this phone is gunna do well.

Can we just leave the Iphone out of this...comparison to the Iphone is junk...Let's just see how will the Evo sells, then when its all done...they we can gloat...but until then...we won't know...I know atleast in August I will be 1 of those purchasing the Evo 4G.

Evo is but one of who knows how many Android phones, models of which are available from all carriers, I think. The Evo is unlikely to even be the best selling Android phone. I don't want it to do too well, because I HATE being one of the herd, or look "faddish" (and no, I won't wear a shirt or hat with a logo on it unless THEY pay ME). Frankly, I'd rather have the only Evo lol
