Re: My ole Touch Pro detects a disturbance in the Force!

I gotta agree with you guys. My tp2 has been freaking out lately. Many more freezes, sense disappearing and having to be manually reloaded for absolutely no reason. Just ridiculous.

Re: My ole Touch Pro detects a disturbance in the Force!

hell I have had problem with my TP2 since I got it. About every 3 months I have to get a new one because if I open the slide or set it down too hard (not that hard) it will shut off.

Re: My ole Touch Pro detects a disturbance in the Force!

My touch pro 2 tried to commit suicide earlier today. I'm not sure how it got in my chair, from my desk, but somehow it did and I sat on it while it was flipped up. All I heard was a crunch. Unfortunately the touch pro 2 did not succeed in killing itself, because now it's nearly crippled. Everything works like it did before except for the slide out keyboard part. Poor touch pro 2, sensing it's imminent replacement.

Re: My ole Touch Pro detects a disturbance in the Force!

OP, I feel your pain.
My TP1, while far from perfect in the past...has been having all kinds of weird problems that I haven't seen before, over the last 2-3 weeks.

I'd really like to take a drill bit, or chop saw, to it after I get the Evo Friday
But I'll try to remain calm and get a few bucks for it

My god, that is INSANE! Mine is doing the exact same thing! TP2 though.

The entire touch screen is not responding whatsoever, even the zoom bar on the bottom. Also, if I ever slide it open to quick (hard) the entire phone shuts off. Same if I set it down on a table normally. I have to set it down all nice and sweet (not exaggerating) for it not to shut off. Want to know what you can't do without a touch screen on a touch pro 2?

- Send text messages
- Send emails
- Browse online (extremely limited)
- Check notifications to get the annoying green flashing LED off.
- Take pictures/videos.
- Much more, but you get the point.

I can pretty much make calls and check voice mail with the help of the arrow keys on the hard keyboard to get around the phone and the hard buttons "Send, Start, Back and End."

My gf absolutely hates the fact I can't text her, I for one...actually kind of like it Friday couldn't come soon enough!
