Will this phone work on Verizon's network?
 

Since this is a CDMA phone, will it work on Verizon's network? If i buy one of those horrendously overpriced phones on ebay, can I activate it on Verizon?

No, because Sprint bought it from HTC only. And plus, there will NOT be a Verizon ROM for the Evo 4G. And another side note, there is no 4G on Verizon.

The closest phone to the Evo on Verizon is the new Droid Incredible.

in theory verizon can put the esn on their network, which I thought they passsed a phone bill in congress saying you are allowed to take your phone to a dift carrier.

dude, Verizon has a 4.3" under the radar phone coming. Made by Motorola. Probably some time this year.

Of course they do. You know they are going to leak info of a similar phone right now just before launch. Good luck waiting and also good luck paying the extra dough monthly in a year when this comes out. Also Motorola vs HTC? Good luck on that :)

u need a vz rom and vz to activate the foreign esn and a vz prl. all seem unlikely for u to get. just cuz their both cdma dont mean theyre just plug n play.
