There are several chat programs.. I use eBuddy for Facebook chat as well as MSN, Yahoo, and AIM and Androids Facebook App for everything else. Facebook notifications and status updates and intergration in general is significantly better than Windows Mobile (I have a Touch Pro 2 as well as a Hero)

wish thats all that was missing, i need slingbox for evo but its not ready so evo is out. lol @ facebook as a issue.

Have you tried meebo?
I use meebo.com now for chatting.
It does AIM, Facebook, MySpace, GTalk, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, and Jabber

I know there is a meebo app in the store, but I haven't tried it and I don't know if you have to pay for it. Probably not since the one I use on the pc is free too.

it wasnt my main issue just the only one I havent solved....I needed to make sure I had facebook chat....I own my own company and believe it or not thats how I talk to alot of my customers.....how is slingbox?

justa thought but and I know it would be troublesomeand have to carry 2 devices but...coudnt you use the evo as a wifihotspot and still run slingbox on the tp2?

sling allows you too watch tv on ppc and view whatever your tv can view. (channels)
