Anyone know the True price of EVO out of contract?

499 offically at Radio Shack...sprint has the lowest retail price... and if you can get the 70 off for resigning your contract even better.. happened to me on TP2s on launch day..ended up with mine for 125, so to speak

I was just pointing out the fact that Sprint does not make this clear. You could technically have met the requirement below, but choose to pay full retail (i don't know why you would, but...). Should you be denied the rebate?

i just had an online chat with sprint. i will purchase the phone retail. the rep stated retail paying customers will get the MIR... it has to be mailed in but those folks do get it.

I have gotten the tp2 for free and I still here and got the MIR, and my roommate bought it full price and still got MIR so I'll take my chances too lol

Dont know if its been mentioned but when I checked an old inventory system it showed $450 as the price BUT my manager told me thats Sprints cost. And full retail MAY be more

449 at sprint 499 at radio shack 699 at best buy but many have confirmed to price match sprint which would make the best buy price 449 also, hope that helps

yes sprint rep via online chat stated the phone will be 449.99 on june 4th...

let me ask this..

if one purchased the evo at retail price at bestbuy and they price match to sprints price of 449.99, will bestbuy STILL grant you instant MIR at the register or would it be a mail in deal? anyone know the answer to this?

I don't know how their computers work but at Radioshack instant rebates only show up in the system after our computers contact theirs and confirm what happened with activation, the rest is automated from there. In the event of it being unactivated it just adds the phone to the ticket at unactivated price then we continue on with business
