Anyone know the True price of EVO out of contract?

Does anyone have a firm price on the EVO without a contract? I am not eligble for an upgrade till next year...got my TP2 end of last year. On the web I see anywhere from $500-449, from a person at Best buy $800-600, from a Sprint sales person at a Sprint store...$500+, and from Sprint CS....they don't know.

Was also wondering if you buy it outright...do you still have to go through the rebate stuff?

Considering your name is "searcher", I'd say this is a failure to live up to that name. It's all over this forum.

$449 retail. $199 after MIR through Sprint with 2yr, $199 OTD with Best Buy and Shack.

Yeah... all different prices....I see $449 the most...but cannot confirm it anywhere. If $449 does that mean it's $549 with a $100 rebate...or $349...after rebate?

$449 is retail price, there is no rebate unless you sign a contract. I edited my post above.

If bought out right from sprint it will be $449.00 or $449.99 something like that forgive the pennies. but it will be $450.00. BBY always charges more than Sprint for some reason but I have been told that they will price match Sprint as well. So as long as you have your ducks in a row you can get the $450 price from BBY.

PS. from what I am aware the rebate is only good for new lines or contract upgrades.

Why you say that? I bought 2 TP2's full price and got MIR on both of them.

Sprint must like you, lol. I've never had any luck getting MIR's on full purchase price items.

nope got my TP2's last Nov but I have been out of contract for a while now too so Im not sure what the deal it.
