Evo Demo Phone at Best Buy

I saw the EVO mock at my local BB yesterday. It's not out for display the guy had it locked in a drawer behind the counter. He had not problem letting me check it out though. It's a bit larger than my TP3 and slightly lighter.

my bb had a paper cut and taped mockup when i preordered.. im wondering if they have a real demo unit yet..

I stopped at BB today and they won't put the dummies out until the 4th. They said that they took 23 pre orders and then were told they were supposed to have stopped at 20. only 20 and this is in a 4G market? Waiting on a call back now to make sure I wasn't the 21st.

It's always good to be a nice person and be freindly! =) Sprint Rep was at my local Best Buy the day I was pre-ordering... I had a pretty long discussion of ways to get Evo's on 2 of my lines (the ones with discounts available) and swap the Evos onto the lines I actually wanted them for.

We ended up walking out of the store and he had mentioned going to other local stores and dropping off the demos... Since he had a trunk full he actually offered me one!

It will work out nicely for testing holsters before the launch...
