Evo Demo Phone at Best Buy - Page 7

I saw the demo today at BB. Wow its heavy LOL. It felt heavier than my TP2. Not sure if this demo is different than what other people have experienced, but was not expecting it to be heavier than my TP2.

Supposedly it's like 20g lighter than the TP2.

having held our mock and the real thing, the mocks have a much different balance than the real phone. the mock may weigh the same, but it doesn't FEEL the same. it is good for pocket and palm feel...

pre-order for release date just ended at best buy yesterday, so the sprint store it is!

yes i do, but i didnt have 50 to spare until today... i called up my store to pre-order and they told me the june 4th versions are cut off and they only have pre-orders for the june 9th

Heh I was told by a rep there (BB) that the mock was not supposed to come out until 2 days before release so they hid all the mocks until then. Can you confirm Ticklemepinks?

honestly i don't know what the mock is, I don't work in mobile, i just have friends or guys that like me that dept. so I badger them to get info or get them to use their log-in names and look for things. so tell me what a mock is and at work tomorrow I'll find out for ya

I guess your unable to understand and interpret employee news b/c that article said nothing of the sort. All it said was for the mocks to be hidden until release day. Nowhere at ALL did it state somebody would be written up or termed. Lol

Plus if you read all of the comments below the article, most of the BB Mobile reps are still going to display the mocks regardless but just put “Coming Soon” on the mock its self. Lol

Yep I can confirm, BB did send out a memo for the mocks to be removed from display. I don’t think the BB Mobile reps realized they weren’t suppose to be out yet. Which can explain why the Sprint stores don't have em out yet.
