Making and installing my own Boot Animations

Bored and got too much time on my hands. Want nekkid women doing kinky things when I boot up my phone.
I know all about Boot Animations. I know where they are stored, I understand the files and the instruction text. Have installed and been though a bunch. But one thing I can't seem to get right is how to make my own and have it run.

I have ripped open other Animations and simply changed out one image (as a test) and it fails to run. I suppect it is the compression scheme. Someone here told me to use 7-ZIP. Did that but no cigar.

Heard a lot of people with similar complaints but the advise given to them never works(for them or me).
Could someone with demonstratable working experience (not just "try this and see if it works") please tell me the required steps to create my very own Boot Animation. (I provide my own pictures of nekkid women)
Thanks

Re: Making and installing my own Boot Animations

Okay, as I stated, I have too much time on my hands. I have a late winter cold and am couchbound. But there is good news. After about 10 trial and error runs, I have finally gotten my first custom boot animation working.

The key is format. Use a archival product that allows you to store without compression. Also make sure your images are PNGs. Other than that, the rest is a matter of naming convention.

I even have sound working. Now if I can find a nekkid woman to pose!
