[MODS] Calkulin's mods -MMS fix; USB Tether fix, more
 

I ran across these from Calkulin at XDA. Flash them through recovery.

Mods are based on the 3.30.651.2 build but should work fine on other builds


For 2.2 only - For De-odex'd ROMs only


Ported SNQ's Disable Browser Text Reflow Mod - Disables browser text reflow when using pinch-to-zoom

Ported SNQ's 4-in-1 Reboot Mod - Adds 4 reboot options to the power men

USB Tethering Fix - Disables Sprint Authentication

MMS Compression Fix - Won't compress image unless it's over the limit

MMS 5MB Limit Mod - Raises MMS limit to 5MB

Disable Dialer Vibration - Disables the dialer keypad vibration

Disable USB Debugging Notification - Disables the USB debug notification icon from the notification bar when USB debugging is enabled

Remove HTC Lockscreen - Removes HTC lockscreen and replaces desk clock with the AOSP version


For 2.1 & 2.2

Remove Sense - Removes Sense from any ROM

Disable Search Capacitive Button - Disables the search capacitive button so you don't accidently hit

Clear Temp - Clears temp files from cache & data partitions (Good to do before backup)

Format ALL - Format's boot, cache, data & system partitions

i downloaded the MMS fix... how do i use it?
Also when i send ppl MMS, half the time they never get it? is it becuzof the service or am i doing something wrong?
I have Handcent installed on my evo, i have a thread which is over 5000 texts, everytime i try to delete my handcent crashes, any idea how to delete it?

flash the zip file from recovery. if your rooted and don't know how to do this by now, its time to read up on it.

about handcent.. is it 'force closing' or just taking forever to delete? thats alot of text messages. just wait out the deletion.

I tried flashing deodexed stock rooted. Then installed clean restore. Still says 3gp not mp4 for video files . Confused.

USB tethering fix causes your browser to force close when its loading a webpage and you hit stop or back.. just a warning and it only works if you have a DEODEXed rom

i was wondering if there was a (prencent notification) like in some of the windows based phones so we can tell when its reaching 100%..never seen anybody say anything about it and i had a pro2 for a year im kinda use to it..
