Very cool! But if you use a case then kind of pointless...

Re: RED AND BLACK Evo ;)

I have seen it a couple times already. Only issue is that every one is just scraping off the paint, some with razor blades, and they all say that it doesnt look perfect and you can see scratch/scrape marks....Once a better way is figured out I may take the plunge... But right now I'm really digging the way my Evo looks right now!!
Here it is for those who didnt see my thread..

Re: RED AND BLACK Evo ;)

So in order to make that trim piece red we have to scratch off all the black..?? That's kinda ghetto...

Yea I know. The plastic is red underneath there, the black or white is just painted on. I guess you could paint over the black or white with red. Then you would have to worry about the red chipping off. Where as if you do it by scraping off the paint, you dont have to worry about the red chipping becasue it is the plastic itself that is red....

Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Pro: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-us; Sprint APA9292KT Build/FRF91) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

I did this about a half hour ago. I scraped the paint as carefully as possible. Then I used a nail file, to smooth, then I used a nail buffer. It took about 20 minutes and looks professional. Thanks for the idea

you could prob use some type of paint thinner and some med(400-800) grit sand paper.. it would look a heck of alot better than using a razor blade.
