I just put the animation& sound file if the new bootup animation comes with a custom sound & move them to my sd card...then move them files to the :system\resources folder or :system\media folder, whichever folder it suppose to be in if I'm not sure I just copy them to both folders

i can put the ZIP file in any folder or does it have to b on root?...

it has to go on the root of ur sdcard and it has to be a flashable zip file not just any zip..

how about flash screens. on the Incredible we just had pb31IMG files we flashed in hboot. the only instructions i have found for the EVO say i have to use fastboot or something.

I'm with you I like to have this stuff on my sd so I can flash away from the pc.
