EVO Tether Macbook Issues/Not working
 

Im new here
I have tried to root my evo using the unrevoked method and connect with the wireless tether app like the video suggest but no luck on a mac
Also have tried using the pdanet app but i cant get that to work either

I make sure to follow the directions given and use the settings that make sense.

how do i know the phone is rooted besides the fact it tells me it is

anyone have any insight to why i cant tether with the macbook?

To figure out if you're rooted.

1. Make sure USB Debugging is on.
   Menu>Settings>Applications>Development>USB Debugging should be checked
2. Connect your phone using "Charge Only"
3. Open a "Run" window and type "c:\evo-recovery\adb-windows shell"

If you get a "$" you're not rooted
If you get a "#" you're rooted
