Best Backup App (Please Help)

I'm new to android...just got my EVO saturday...I've been searching the market place and this website...im looking for the best BackUp Free app...all the ones that i've found thats been pretty good reviews are for the phones that are rooted. can anybody please help

yeah thats the one i keep hearing about...but if i root that mean i cant update to froyo when sprint do the ota right?

This is NOT what rooting means. Whomever told you that is misinformed. There is definitely going to be a cooked version of Froyo very soon after release. you can always upgrade to that version.
