APK Signing

When I had my Hero, I was able to sign most .apks for themeing, modifying, etc. However I have been unsuccessful to sign a .apk file after repackaging. I have used several methods located upon the web using Stericsons latest.

Maybe I am using a wrong archival setup...

If you don't mind sharing, what method(s) is everyone else using?

I only signed an .apk with it, I didn't try and .zip's.

I use the AvaboxV2 for .zips

If I say take a file out of an already signed zip and replace it with another file would I need to resign said zip.? or apk?

If you edit an apk within the .zip you would only need to resign the .zip.
