How To Change Splash Screen Using Mac OS X?
 
Can Somebody Please Give Me Instructions?

I Am Rooted Running Latest Stock Rom W/ Root. I Am Also Running The Latest Radio.

I Am Running Mac OS X 10.6.4.

Here Is My Custom Made Splash Screen:

I'm running 10.6.4 as well, why not just switch over to Bootcamp? Or use VMware and virtualize Windows.

Now I'm 100% sure if this will work, because I don't have root and haven't done this myself. But you could probably navigate to /System/media/bootanimation.zip/android and manually edit all the wvga_htc_bootup_android images to the image that you want.

The only issue is that there's 78 of them, so that's a lot of manual editing.:/

Oh I know that one, but I'm talking about splash screen. The white image that says HTC evo 4g when first booted. Thanks.

If you go to that directory I listed, it's in there. So far, there is no OS X specific software out there to do such a task.

Just hold out, someone many develop something. If not, remember what I listed. :P

Nope. That's the boot ANIMATION. Im searching for the splash screen. Look at my first post.

Sorry, I use the words Splash and Boot Animation interchangeable. Especially since the name of the file you are looking for is called "bootanimation.zip".

/system/customize/resource/bootnanimation.zip/android/
