hey if I install one of these clocks will it get ride of the glass rectangle back ground as well as change the clock color?

No you must be using a deodexed rom to use a custom theme try doing a search for omj roms that's what I use and it works flawlessly

I know its a dumb question, but how do you install these files? Do I need to be in recovery and and run the zipfile?

Stupid question but is this thread directly related to OS 2.1 ie can Froyo 2.2 owners use this thread?

This is a thread to help each other out from 2.1 and forward.. post questions, requests, themes, mods, etc.. Currently in school so limited to helping for the moment but will be posting a theme soon once the Rom Im using is stable. Thank you all for sharing and helping out.
